Rural medical Needs

"Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God." (Acts 3:6-8)

In India, infectious disease risk is high for Hepatitis A, typhoid, tuberculosis, dysentery and malaria. Eight out of the nine malaria-transmitting mosquitoes are prevalent where Asia International Mission works throughout the country.

Some ailments are curable with simple treatments, as is the case for eye or urinary track infections. However, the lack of proper equipment and medicines, as well as increasing government restrictions, pose severe challenges to providing medical care in rural India.

Despite these challenges, the poor in India can find healing and hope! After much prayer, AIM seeks to begin a new outreach ministry by giving those with life-threatening illnesses a second chance at life.

With this goal in mind, AIM will begin partnering with Mizpah Ministries in Bangalore, India.  There is much to be done, and you can help to provide much needed medical assistance to the poor in India today.

Two ways you can help are: Donate $25-$50-$100 toward the purchase of a new van to stock with medical supplies and to be used as a mobile medical clinic. Or, for every $50 you donate will provide medical care for 5 patients.

Click Donate Now, and give generously to the “Helping Hands Fund.” Thank you.

What do you think about the definition of church being "a spiritual family (madly in love with Jesus) on mission together"?
