The 40 Days of Jesus

During the 40 days between Jesus' resurrection and His return to heaven, Jesus gave specific instructions to the disciples on five different occasions (and all His followers). These final instructions were not random or scattered thoughts, but focused, built on one another, and set the direction for generations of believers to come.

Jesus began in John 20:21 by explaining that just as the Father had sent Him, now He was sending us. In Mark 16:15 He made it clear that everyone, all of creation, needs to hear of who He is and what He's done. Matthew 28:18-20 says that our lives should be focused on disciple-making. Then in Luke 24:44-49 Jesus emphasizes the content of that disciple-making; "...Repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in His name to all nations..."

We would love to have you join us next year for a mission trip to India. Go HERE to check out the available opportunities.

We still have several children who need sponsors. Many of them are orphans, all of them have been abandoned by family or society. Please help give them hope for their future with food, clothing, an education, and the love of Christ. Sponsor a child NOW.

No One is Left Out

Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Every Christian that is serious about God senses a desire inside them that causes them to want to make their life count for God, even if they can't explain it. The reason they have that deep desire is because God's divine purpose is being revealed for their life.

God has placed a special calling inside every person to play an important part in helping fulfill His plan on the earth, which is to take the gospel to every nation. And that is what Asia International Mission is all about! We are about equipping and mobilizing people for the global harvest. We are about helping to raise a new generation of believers to carry on the work of God. Or we could say, AIM is all about connecting people, from all walks of life, to their God-given role in world missions.

God wants everyone to play a part in reaching the world for Christ. No one is left out! Each Christian has a special role.

Some are called to use their talents in the nations on short term mission trips.
AIM can make that happen!

Some have been raised up and blessed by God to help support missionaries and field projects.
AIM can connect you!

Some are seeking God about missions and want to "test the waters."
AIM can provide a real missions experience!

Our passion is to see God use you to reach the nations!

What Do You See?

What do you see when you look at the AIM logo?

I would like you to see a movement to the unreached. Our logo represents people, prayers, and resources going to those who are beyond the reach of a local church. But that's not where it ends. Multiplication is in the DNA of our organization--a desire to see believers and churches reproduced in the lives of the people of India, who can then reach their own families, friends, and communities for Christ.

The underlying principle is this: if God has called people from every tribe, language, and nation, if He has prepared people everywhere to receive His gospel, He has also prepared them to TAKE His gospel to the very ends of the earth.

That "taking" will more likely look different than in the western world. So, our challenge is to examine what we might consider "normal" and "essential" and determine the most effective way to join other nations in presenting the gospel. It may seem complicated, but it's not impossible.

Isaiah tells us, "Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end..." Then he tells us why. Will we elect wise people into powerful positions? Will westerners pay believers in Asia to to go for us? Not exactly. God revealed to Isaiah this, "The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this." (Is 9:7)

Can you think of any stronger words that show God's passion about this? I don't believe Isaiah leaves any doubt as to who will accomplish the growth of God's church.

AIM is committed to being a part of God's mighty movement throughout Asia to bring the hope and love of the gospel to those with little or no access to it.

What do you see when you look at the AIM logo?

Who Are the Unreached?

Did you know that more than 40% of the people in the world are unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ, and there is no indigenous community of believers living within their people group to evangelize them? Most of them live in countries opposed to christian missions.

AIM believes that the most effective way to reach these people is to support native ministries who have a God-given vision and burden to win their own people to Christ. The fewer barriers the gospel must cross, the more effective the message.

We also believe in the effectiveness of raising up abandoned and neglected children; providing food, clothing, education, and the gospel to those who will become the next generation of leaders, and will go back out into their communities with the gospel.

While visiting countries, AIM seeks out effective indigenous ministries already at work in their communities. Before committing any assistance, AIM checks to see that it is biblically sound, financially accountable, evangelistic, and has a good testimony in their community. We also want to make sure that it is truly indigenous, and not attached to any foreign organization.

Whenever AIM receives any designated contributions, 100% of that gift is distributed for the purpose requested. No portion of that donation is used for personal expenses incurred on behalf of AIM's work. Because of that, we appreciate any donations toward the general fund.

Starting today, we will begin providing you with a specific unreached people group to pray for each week. Some of these may have a small Christian witness, but many have no witness at all. This weeks people group is the Abdul.
