"...I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb." (Revelation 7:9a)
Throughout India, you will find millions of abandoned and neglected children. AIM is working with local ministries to rescue these little ones. Our children's Home provides a loving atmosphere with food, clothing, and medical care--where they are taught about the living God, who loves them and created them as unique individuals.
Pastor Paresh & Family |
Evangelical outdoor meetings and Bible distribution have all proven very effective in leading the spiritually hungry to Christ. AIM also cares for people's needs through Disaster Relief and Food/Blanket distribution, drawing many unreached people t the Gospel. We accomplish this by partnering with local ministries.
Last week I told you about one of our newest ministry partners, Pastor Babu in the state of Karnataka, and his heart for children's ministry and providing free medical care for the poor. Today, I want to introduce another of our newest partners, Pastor Paresh. His vision is to plant new churches in the unreached villages of West Bengal in Northeast India. The population of this state is over 68,000,000 of which only 383,000 are Christian.
Pastor Albert teaching the children |
His goal is to start a Sunday school for children in every unreached village; using that as a gateway for the gospel into the community. It has been a non-threatening and effective way into the hearts of the people. He provides a meal, Bible story time, Bible story coloring book and worship songs. In one village, as we began to teach the children, we noticed the adults of the village begin to gather around the perimeter of the area, listening intently to the story and a clear presentation of the gospel.
By working with national ministries and individuals who
share this hope and vision, we can make the Good News of Jesus available to anyone in India. When
this happens, lives will be transformed.
By partnering with Asia International Mission (AIM), you can
help take the Good News of Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting world. To help provide Bible materials and snacks for new Sunday school starts in unreached villages you can donate now by Clicking Here.
If you would are interested in seeing first hand the work God is doing there Email Us to share your heart, and we will keep you updated as we put together our 2013 mission trips. And don't forget to follow us on Facebook.
And please pray for Pastor Paresh and his wife and they work side by side doing God's work, for God's glory.

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..." (James 1:27a)
The church is
not called to “turn a blind eye” to the disturbing plight of our world’s children.
Rather, the church is called to “expose” this “shameful” state of affairs by
“shining a light” on the problem.

Prayer Requests
Pray for national ministries that help starving children, and
people left helpless due to debilitating diseases like malaria and AIDS.
