Vacation Bible School in India

With about 30 percent of its population of more than 1.2 billion people under the age of 15, India’s children and youth provide ample opportunities to share the love of Christ. The future of the church in India rests in the hands of children, so AIM is committed to building this future with a strong foundation of love for God through Vacation Bible School programs.

The VBS curriculum we use in India is written for a 5 day program. It is published by Child Evangelism Fellowship and uses their Wordless Book based on the colors of Gold, Black, Red, Green, and White. Each color represents an aspect of the gospel. Much like in the States, India’s program begins each day with a song and prayer. The week long presentation starts in Genesis, and continues on through the death and resurrection of Jesus on the Cross.

Our Vacation Bible Schools are typically held between March and June. But can be done in most any other month a church desires.

Why not consider joining a mission team for one or two weeks to participate in a Vacation Bible School program for children in India who may never have heard the Gospel before? Can you imagine anything more rewarding than that?

Be a part of THE plan--God's plan--the Great Commission. Come to Bangalore and Kolkata, India this summer and introduce a child to Christ. The dates are May 25-June 8, 2013. Click Here for more information or to download an application.

Prayer Requests

For the millions of children and youth attending VBS programs in India, please pray that they will hear the gospel message clearly, that they will be open to the influence of the Holy Spirit, and that they will make commitments to follow Christ.

For the VBS leaders and church congregations hosting the sessions. Pray that they will have the Lord’s wisdom and guidance as they prepare and teach, and that they will be used by Him to lead the younger generation to Christ.

And pray that the Lord will use the VBS ministry to bring many into His kingdom and to call some into full-time Christian service.
