What do you have time for today, work, school, or even church activities? Have you spent time on your face before the Father and soaked up His Word? In Ephesians 4 Paul is speaking to the believers about their former ways. Verse 20 of this chapter says that they “…did not learn Christ in this way.” We have to do more than KNOW Him. We have to LEARN Him. When we learn Him, we desire to know Him more. We want to serve Him and live our lives for His glory and His glory alone!
And, when we live for His glory, we seek to live out His Word. We long to follow His ways. As Psalm 67:2 reminds us, we ask for God to bless us so that His “way may be known on the earth” and His “salvation among all nations.” What are you living for? Are you living to take His name to the nations? What are you doing today to make sure His glory is revealed around the globe?
I encourage all of you to look at your lives and see what you truly have time for to-day...may it be for His glory and His name’s sake alone!
